TRAM has been granted the seal of quality for hygiene and control that certifies all protocols to prevent the spread of Covid-19 are applied properly. This is just another example of how TRAM looks out for the wellbeing of its employees and riders.

Applus certification was the company that carried out the week-long audit of the physical protocols and measures regarding hygiene, technical and organisational issues, equipment and access control. After an exhaustive analysis, Applus has granted TRAM certification showing that all of these protocols are applied properly and effectively to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in its facilities.

From the beginning of this healthcare crisis, TRAM has put in place the necessary health and hygiene protocols and ramped up cleaning and disinfection. At the same time, procedures were put in place to ensure the facilities and trams are safe, as has been done in other modes of public transport that have also reinforced their protocols. Now, this Applus certification confirms that the company's efforts over these months have been planned and applied correctly.

TRAM reminds riders they must wear a mask and remember good hand hygiene and that, if these instructions are followed, public transport is a safe space.
